Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff,
Happy Valentine’s Day! Our Positivity Project Character Strength of week was love, which means “you value close relationships with others and being close to people.” I hope you are able to spend some time today and next week with those you love!
There is no school for students from Monday, February 17th to Friday, February 21st. District offices will be closed on Monday, February 17th in observance of Presidents' Day. Have a wonderful February break! We’ll see you on Monday, February 24, 2025.

Senior Nicolas Pompo is the Section III Class A Diving Champion!
Senior Julianna Gingrich is the Section III Class AAA Girls Shot Champion!
Seniors Aaniya Johnson, Emerson Clavijo and Amerie Williams and Junior Kam Barton are the Section III Class AAA Girls 4x200 Relay Champions!
Senior Owen Johnson is the Section III Class AAA Boys Pole Vault Champion!
National Merit Scholarship Finalist:
Congratulations to Senior Chloe Deshaies for being named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. This distinction not only recognizes Chloe for scoring in the top 1 percent in the nation for PSAT test scores but also qualifies her for National Merit Scholarship opportunities. Chloe is also the salutatorian of the Class of 2025. Congratulations, Chloe!
SkillsUSA Regional Competition Winner:
Senior Sadie Ward earned first place in the First Aid/CPR competition of the SkillsUSA Regional Competition, which was held at SUNY Morrisville on Friday, February 7th. Sadie will be eligible to compete at the SkillsUSA State Competition at the NYS Fairgrounds on April 24th. Congratulations, Sadie!
Postseason Athletic Action and Band Events:
Boys Swimming State Qualifiers are being held this afternoon at Nottingham Pool. Electronic ticketing only.
Boys Wrestling Sectionals will be held Saturday at SRC Arena on the OCC campus. Action starts at 9:30 a.m. Electronic ticketing only.
The Varsity Winter Guard competes Saturday at WGI regional in Corning. Action starts at 11:35 a.m.
Girls Wrestling Sectionals will be held Sunday at SRC Arena on the OCC campus. Action starts at 9 a.m. Electronic ticketing only.
Cheerleading Sectionals will be held Saturday, February 22nd at SRC Arena on the OCC campus. Action starts at 9 a.m. Electronic ticketing only.
