Announcements
March 13, 2026
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff,
March is Music in Our Schools Month and Youth Art Month, and it has been wonderful to celebrate the musical and artistic talents of our Bees throughout our schools.
I also want to take this opportunity to remind families that if you are unable to attend one of the concerts held in the auditorium at C.W. Baker High School, we do offer a live stream on YouTube. You can also view recordings of past concerts and performances!
Our Indoor Drumline is having an amazing season, earning three first-place finishes in their first three competitions. Tomorrow, the drumline will join the rest of the Marching Bees for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Syracuse, which marks the band’s 12th annual appearance. Best of luck to our students, and have a great time representing our district!
The arts are also alive across our schools. You are invited to visit the Secondary All-District Art Show at the Baldwinsville Public Library, where we are showcasing the incredible talent of our students in grades 6–12. The exhibit features a wide variety of artistic expressions from painting and sculpture to digital media and photography. The exhibit is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our students’ hard work and creativity. The artwork will be on display through March 24th.
Our commitment to the visual and performing arts as a district is a reflection of our belief that creativity, expression and the exploration of ideas are essential parts of a well-rounded education. The arts inspire our students, help them develop confidence and critical thinking skills, and strengthen the sense of community within our schools. Thank you for continuing to support the arts and the many opportunities they provide for our students to shine.
I have several announcements to share with you today:
