Board Candidate Information

Are you interested in running for the Board of Education? Board of Education elections are held the same day as the annual budget vote, which is set for Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Board of Education candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  1. A citizen of the United States;
  2. Eighteen (18) years of age or older;
  3. Able to read and write;
  4. A legal resident for at least one (1) year prior to the election;
  5. Cannot be an employee of the Baldwinsville Central School District;
  6. The only member of their family on the Baldwinsville Central School District Board;
  7. May not simultaneously hold another, incompatible public office;
  8. Must not have been removed from a school district office within one year of the election or appointment.

If you are interested in running for the Board, please call the business office at 315-638-6055. Packets are ready to be picked up in the Business Office for anyone interested in running for the school board. These packets can be picked up between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday. The Business Office is located in the District Office on main campus. 

Please note that no resources of the Baldwinsville Central School District, including the district logo and image of the Baldwinsville Bee, may be used for Board of Education candidates’ campaign materials and activities, as this could create the impression that the school district endorses a candidate(s).
