What is ACC?
Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) describes multiple ways to communicate that can supplement or compensate (either temporarily or permanently) for the impairment and disability patterns of individuals with severe expressive communication disorders.
Our Purpose
To empower individuals with communication challenges by providing access to effective and personalized AAC systems, promoting their ability to express themselves fully and participate actively in society, through education, advocacy, and research efforts focused on enhancing communication capabilities for all.
Lori Johnstone is a Speech Language Pathologist who helps students, families and staff with AAC.
