Modified Boys Swimming has undefeated season and memorable final meet!

Our modified boys swim team wrapped up the winter 2025 season with a perfect 7-0 record, going undefeated and dominating the competition in every event. This team of 25 swimmers, both experienced and new, worked hard, pushed each other to improve, and achieved incredible success. The team is coached by Melanie Bruce and Gennaro D'Agostino.

Wednesday, March 12th also marked a historic moment for the Baldwinsville swim teams -- it was the final swim meet ever to be held at the four-lane pool before construction begins on the new facility. The pool holds nearly seven decades of memories, achievements, and history! To honor this moment, many of the varsity boys and girls swimmers came to cheer on the final meet. 

"For decades, this pool has been home to champions, friendships and unforgettable moments," Coach D'Agostino said. "Last night, we held our final modified swim meet in this space -- closing it out with a dominating undefeated season. This team is bigger and stronger than ever, but as we say goodbye to this facility, we look ahead to the future of B’ville swimming. Here’s to every lap, every race, and every memory made here."
