I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful spring break! I hope you find time to relax and recharge, but also to have some fun! For those of you who are headed out of town, we wish you safe travels!
This is a quick reminder that report cards are now available in the Parent Portal. Students return to school on Monday, April 21st. I have a few more announcements to share with you today:
New administrative appointments:
We are pleased to announce three appointments by the Board of Education on Monday evening. Jennifer Terpening was named the next principal of C.W. Baker High School. Amy Klymkow was named the next principal of Van Buren Elementary School. Tori Sivers was named assistant principal at Ray Middle School. The appointments are effective on July 1, 2025. Elementary Art Show:
Our All-District Elementary Art Reception was held earlier this week at the Baldwinsville Public Library. Make sure to check out the amazing artwork from our kindergarten to 5th grade students all this month!
Parent/Caregiver Event:
Attention parents/caregivers of students in 7th-12th grade, mark your calendars for an event that explores the truth about teen drug use. The Power of Prevention: Tools for Promoting Health & Wellness in Your Teen event will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6 to 8 p.m. in the cafeteria at Durgee Junior High School. The free event will feature speakers from Helio Health and Prevention Network and more. Learn more and register on our website.

The Baldwinsville Theater Arts Program will present the Clue on Stage - High School Edition play at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 25th and Saturday, April 26th. Online tickets are available now at www.bvilletheater.com. Tickets are no cost to the public. No online fees are assessed for free tickets.
Community Café:
Please join us for our next Community Café, which will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29th at C.W. Baker High School in the cafeteria. The topic discussed will be Wellness for the Mind and Body. Guests will gather in small groups as we share ideas, perspectives and light refreshments. Registration is required. We hope you can join us as we explore questions that matter, build relationships and share our knowledge and ideas to help build, educate and empower our students!
