Clarification Regarding Recent Media Coverage

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff,

In response to recent articles published by the media, our district has received a number of concerning and, in some cases, hostile communications.

We want to clarify information circulating within the community. Club America is an approved student organization at the high school and has been meeting regularly. Like our other extracurricular organizations, it is student-initiated and student-directed.

We are proud of the many diverse student organizations available to our students. These groups provide meaningful opportunities for students to connect, lead, and engage in areas of shared interest while adhering to district guidelines and the Code of Conduct.

We remain committed to transparency within the bounds of the law and appreciate our community’s continued support and cooperation as we focus on maintaining a safe and respectful school environment for all.
