Groundbreaking marks start of major improvements at Ray Middle School

Posted Date: 04/07/26 (09:52 AM)

Construction is officially underway at Ray Middle School as part of the district’s $242.4 million Funding Improvements & Building the Future capital improvement project.

On Monday afternoon, members of the Board of Education joined Superintendent Dr. Joseph M. DeBarbieri on site to mark the milestone with a ceremonial groundbreaking.

This historic investment, which was approved by voters in December 2024, will enhance grade-level configurations, expand building use, and strengthen instructional opportunities. The project is designed to deliver more effective, relevant, and efficient programming for Baldwinsville students for years to come.
