I have lived in Baldwinsville since 1980. In those 46 years, I have grown to deeply appreciate the caring and generous spirit of our area. I feel a true obligation to be a contributing member of this wonderful community. When I was elected to the school board in 2023, I listened to your concerns and heard a clear desire for stability and a positive culture. Over the last three years, your school board has worked together to deliver exactly that. My previous tenure on the Board (2005–2011 and 2013–2019) allowed me to contribute immediately and serve as an effective, experienced voice for our residents.

Board Accomplishments: 2023–2026

  • Long-Term Capital Project: We secured community support for a major investment in our buildings, ensuring state-of-the-art facilities for our students.

  • Effective Budget Planning: We have prioritized student safety and learning as our primary objectives, ensuring every dollar is spent carefully and transparently.

  • Educating Every Individual: Recognizing that every student has different needs, we have championed a variety of programs designed to motivate and inspire every learner.

  • Listening to the Community: Alongside our Superintendent, we have strengthened our connection to you. Through Community Cafés and Friday letters, we’ve ensured that you have a seat at the table.

It has been a distinct honor to serve as your Board of Education President for this term. I hope to earn your vote on May 19, 2026. I will continue to do my best to support every student and every family in Baldwinsville.

In 2016, my wife and I moved to Baldwinsville with our two children, drawn by the district’s outstanding academics and inclusive Special Education program. We have been proud community members ever since.

Born and raised in CNY, I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in high school while competing on the varsity swim team and working as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and pre-competitive swim coach. I also gained valuable experience as a lighting designer and technical theater manager for school and community theater programs.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology from SUNY Geneseo and a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care from SUNY Upstate Medical University. For over 20 years, I have served as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic Respiratory Therapist and Clinical Base Supervisor in Emergency Medical Services, working as a provider, educator, and leader in high-stakes environments.

I have proudly served on the Board of Education since 2023. In this role, I remain deeply dedicated to supporting our students, staff, and entire community. I am committed to fostering academic excellence, strengthening our inclusive Special Education programs, and ensuring every child has the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. Students with special needs continue to hold a special place in my heart.

My background in critical care, strategic planning, collaborative leadership, and responsible budgeting has prepared me to address challenges thoughtfully and deliver practical, student-focused solutions.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to continuing my dedication to the success of Baldwinsville’s students, educators, and community for another term.
