Announcements for Friday, May 8, 2026
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff,
This week, we had the honor of celebrating Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week and recognizing the incredible people who make our schools places where students can learn, grow and thrive every single day.
It truly takes the whole hive to help our bees succeed. The education of a child is never the work of one person alone; it is built through the dedication, compassion and teamwork of an entire school community working together for students each day. From teachers and teaching assistants to counselors, nurses, custodians, office staff, cafeteria teams, bus drivers, librarians, technology staff, facilities staff and administrators, every role in our district matters and deserves our appreciation.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to our PTA organizations for the thoughtful celebrations and generosity shown to staff throughout the week. Your kindness and support helped make this week especially meaningful. Thank you as well to the parents and families who took the time to send sweet cards, thoughtful gifts and supportive messages to their child’s teachers and support staff. Those gestures of appreciation truly mean so much.
To every staff member who supports, guides, encourages and inspires our students each day: thank you. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom and our school community is stronger because of you.
We appreciate all you do, today and every day. Go Bees!
Finally, as Mother’s Day approaches, we extend our sincere appreciation and warmest wishes to all mothers, grandmothers and mother figures throughout our district. Your love, guidance and support make a lasting difference in the lives of our students. Thank you for all you do and enjoy your special day!
I have a few announcements to share with you today:
