Mental Wellness Tip of the Week: Clear the Clutter
Posted Date: 05/13/26 (09:46 AM)
As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, we asked our school social workers — Meredith Truley at Baker High School, Jill Joseph at Ray Middle School and Lauren Hibbard at Durgee Junior High School — to share simple tips to support mental wellness.
This week’s tip: Physical clutter can also clutter our minds.
Set a 15-minute timer this week and tackle one small area in your home to declutter — a junk drawer, overflowing laundry basket, kitchen counter, kids’ toys, bookshelves, or any space that feels overwhelming.
Small steps can make a big difference in creating a calmer, more organized mindset.
