District seeks volunteers for budget committees

We are starting the development process for the 2027-2028 budget and we are seeking community input through budget advisory committees. The District is looking for volunteers to serve on committees to review specific areas of the budget and to provide input on the budget cost savings prior to the budget components being presented to the Board of Education for review.

The budget advisory committee meetings will all meet virtually via Zoom and are as follows:

Facilities

• Initial Proposal: October 29 at 4:00 p.m.

• Review: November 4 at 4:00 p.m.

Transportation

• Initial Proposal: November 5 at 4:00 p.m.

• Review: November 10 at 4:00 p.m.

Athletics

• Initial Proposal: November 4 at 4:30 p.m.

• Review: November 12 at 4:00 p.m.

Student Services

• Initial Proposal: November 12 at 4:30 p.m.

• Review: November 17 at 4:00 p.m.

Instructional & Technology

• Initial Proposal: November 9 at 4:30 p.m.

• Review: November 17 at 4:30 p.m.

Committee members will meet with the administrators responsible for these budget components.
