Announcements for Friday, June 12, 2026

Posted Date: 06/12/26 (02:33 PM)

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff,

This was an exciting week for the Class of 2026!

On Wednesday evening, scholarships totaling more than $200,000 were awarded to members of the graduating class. Earlier today, seniors returned to their elementary schools for the annual Senior Walk, revisiting where their educational journey began. This beloved tradition gives our soon-to-be graduates an opportunity to reflect on how far they have come and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. Photos of the scholarship recipients and the Senior Walk are available on our Facebook page.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Graduation is just one week away. Visit our website to meet the 2026 Baker’s Dozen.

Tuesday is the last day of classes for our Durgee and Baker students. Regents exams continue on Wednesday. As a reminder, there are no exams or school for all students and district offices are closed on Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

I have a few announcements to share with you today:

Athletics:

Girls Outdoor Track & Field athlete Kamryn Barton will compete this weekend in the NYSPHSAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 800-meter run and the 2,000-meter steeplechase. The state competition will be held Saturday and Sunday at Webster Schroeder High School. Go Kamryn!

Marching Bees Announcement:

The Baldwinsville Marching Band has been selected to perform during the halftime show of the Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets football game on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Performing in front of tens of thousands of fans and a national audience is a tremendous honor and a testament to the hard work, dedication and excellence of the students, staff and volunteers who make up the Baldwinsville Marching Band program. Read more on our website. Go Bees!
