Announcements for Thursday, June 18, 2026
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff,
We are approaching one of the most exciting days of the school year: Graduation Day! Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
Graduation is a time of pride and reflection, not only for our graduates, but also for the families, staff and community members who have supported them throughout their educational journey. This milestone represents years of hard work, perseverance, growth and achievement, and we look forward to celebrating all that our graduates have accomplished.
The ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20th, at the Expo Center at the New York State Fairgrounds. There are no tickets required, no guest limits and free parking for all attendees. For those who are unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be livestreamed on YouTube, allowing family and friends near and far to join in celebrating this special occasion.
While graduation marks the end of the school year for our seniors, our younger students still have a few more days of learning, exams, celebrating and making memories before their last day of school next Thursday. We encourage all students to finish the year strong and take pride in the growth they have achieved throughout the year.
I also want to remind everyone that there will be no school and district offices will be closed tomorrow, Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support throughout the school year. As we celebrate our graduates and prepare for the final days of school, I wish all of our students, staff and families a safe, enjoyable and memorable week ahead.
I have a few announcements to share with you today:
